Hey! This is new!
First off, let me apologize for being absent for much of the last month. I have had a couple of posts on the tips of my fingers, but it’s been pretty hectic lately. It’s very exciting because we are expecting our second child! This, looming renovation projects and a bit of stress at work has left me a bit frazzled, so I have been laying kind of low, trying to regroup. Kind of bad timing with these elections on, but nobody asked me before they scheduled them
The mildly observant of you may have noticed that I have moved the blog over to WordPress. I was kind of a little bit tired of Blogger, and looking for a little more flexibility. I seriously looked at Squarespace (because it is soooo delicious!) but decided this was a better route. The fact that I don’t earn any money off this means that price was a factor. I’ll admit though, that the open-source nature of WordPress (at least of the .org variety) was a factor too.
Anyhoo, welcome. I hope I manage to make the necessary adjustments so as not to loose any of my fans, but I’ll say I’m not exactly sure I won’t miss something along the way. I hope it doesn’t cause anyone undo confusion or inconvenience.
Feel free to let me know what you think. I’m hoping to muss with the CSS as bit over time to give the site it’s own unique flavour. But with having to remind myself about CSS and finding the time, I can’t guarantee a rapid turnaround. We’ll see how it goes.
