So, as I watch CBC New’s update tonight, I hear that the Chinese had a pretty little girl stand in to “sing” for a “less pretty” girl with a beautiful voice. Apparently it was very important for the Chinese organizers that we believe that their county’s talent people are all very beautiful.

All I can think is that it seems very appropriate to what the Olympics has become. Is it REALLY about the competition? The comradery? Dreams of world peace? Probably not…
